Training
Dr. Liu received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in Molecular Cell Biology with Highest Distinction Honors. He obtained his medical doctorate at the University of California, Davis, where he graduated top of his class. Subsequently, Dr. Liu completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Stanford University Hospital. He continued at Stanford for his Dermatology residency, where he was selected Chief Resident of the Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Liu has received several honors and awards, including selection into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa. He is also a past recipient of the University of California Regents Scholarship, Chinese American Physicians Scholarship, Arnold Gurevitch Presentation Award in Dermatology, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery Preceptor Scholarship. For the past several years, he has been selected by his peers and patients for the Patients Choice Award and SuperDoctors Distinction.
